St Lawrence Primary School Embraces LifeLink Day
Jacki Tucker, Year Two Teacher and Assistant Principal at St Lawrence Primary School in Balcatta, kindly sent us the following note regarding their school’s efforts for LifeLink Day 2017.
“We came together to support LifeLink Day by having a free dress day and donating money towards the appeal.
We decorated our Hearts and held a prayer service as a whole school, where we thanked God for all we have and also prayed for those who need help in our community.
Our Hearts looked fabulous at the entrance to our school, and reminded everyone about considering the needs of others.
We also collected food to support Shopfront, an organisation which many of our staff members visited last week.
Our students all enjoyed participating in the Archbishop’s LifeLink Day and we have proudly raised over $420” she said.
Thanks so much Ms Tucker and special thanks to everyone at St Lawrence Primary School for really embracing LifeLink Day.
It’s great to hear that you all had fun with the free dress day and the ‘Hearts Project’… and raised such a generous gift to help people in need in the community.
We were also delighted to hear of your work collecting food to help our fantastic agency, The Shopfront.
This agency helps more than 25,000 visitors who reach out to them for assistance each year… so every gift counts!
Thanks so much for all your hard work and helping to make LifeLink Day 2017 such a success!
