Catholic Outreach assists parishes to develop Care Programs which enable volunteers to provide practical short-term emergency support for people in need in their local community.
This support may include meals, transport, home visiting, and other forms of practical help. Catholic Outreach also support bereavement support and grief recovery. This support includes Seasons for Growth grief seminars and peer support programs.
Parish volunteers reach out with love, care and compassion to those in need, demonstrating in a tangible and positive way what it means to live “Faith in Action”.
