The Emmanuel Centre fosters the access and inclusion of people with disabilities within the Catholic Church and provide parishes, clergy and agencies support to do so.
We provide information; pastoral care; faith development and advocacy. We act as a resource for Church Agencies, clergy and parishes.
The Catholic Ministry for People who are Deaf or Hearing Impaired seeks to expand accessibility to deaf and hearing impaired people, and to educate the community on the needs of their clients.
Catholic Ministry for People who are Deaf or Hearing-Impaired activities are varied, and include social groups, telephone support, information sharing and pastoral care.
