Through your support of LifeLink, you are reaching out with love and compassion to help our brothers and sisters in need, and in doing so, walking in the footsteps of the Good Shepherd.”

We are delighted to announce that a ‘new” agency will be welcomed to the LifeLink family in April 2025.
Stella Maris Seafarers’ Centre
FREMANTLE
Stella Maris, an organisation first established in Fremantle in 1947, recommenced service to the seafarers’ community this year.
As an agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth, funded through LifeLink, this organisation offers pastoral, spiritual and practical care and support to all seafarers who visit Fremantle Port.
Its focus is making care, hospitality and service a missionary expression of Jesus’ concern for seafarers.
Mr Claude Coutinho, the newly appointed Coordinator of Stella Maris said, “This important ministry recognises that shipping is a significant contributor to the Western Australian people, as most goods that are purchased are transported from all around the world via sea lanes. Seafarers working on board ships often do so in difficult conditions, and they deserve respite in a welcoming and comfortable environment on land”.
More details will be provided via the LifeLink website once this agency is fully operational.
Welcome aboard Stella Maris.
