St Augustine’s ‘Keeping It Cool’ for LifeLink Day
The LifeLink Office was delighted to receive an email from Mrs Khose, Art Specialist, on behalf of St Augustine’s Primary School in Rivervale recently.
Mrs Khose said:
“I would just like to share our LifeLink Day 2025 launch story and some pics.
There was great excitement at St Augustine’s Primary School in Rivervale at recess on Tuesday 3 June as our school Mini Vinnie Team had organised an ice cream in a cone stall to raise money for the Archbishops Catholic Caring Agencies. The cold morning did not deter students from lining up with their $1 coin to buy their favourite ice cream.
Our team of 8 students created posters to spread the word, completed their Coles online order and when the selling day arrived, armed with their scoop and sprinkles, they tackled the ice cream loving crowd.
$228 was raised for LifeLink, at $1 per ice cream that was 228 ice creams!”
Thanks so much Mrs Khose for sharing this good news with us… and congratulations to everyone at St Augustine’s.
We are so grateful for your innovative event and generous contribution. Hope you all enjoyed those ice-creams 🙂
